The coastal waters yield a wide array of marine treasures, including saang (spider conch), lato (sea grapes), various edible seashells, marine crabs locally known as lambay, and fresh shrimps. A colorful variety of seaweeds thrives in its intertidal zones, along with numerous fish species caught daily by local fisherfolk. Unique to the area is the salt-less bulad danggit (sun-dried rabbitfish), naturally preserved under the sun without added salt,
prized for its clean, delicate flavor.
